Mixed Media

This class aims to examine the place of material in contemporary art practice.

Approaches working with new material — including but not limited to traditional crafts, fibers, building materials, found objects, nature, trash, etc…

Students are encouraged to use their area of concentration as the main element.

      I think this is an awesome group of makers! Many of you play in different mediums and it will be interesting to see you solve the problems given in different ways! A ceramicist, art historian, graphic designers, illustrators, drama minor, musicians, painters, stuffed animal maker, computer programmer, to name a few! Cool-for lack of a better word.
